Madhab Kharel

Madhab is an immigration lawyer at Gold Migration Lawyers who holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from College of Law. Madhab is currently enrolled in the Master of Politics and Policy at Deakin University and is in the process to transition to the University of Melbourne’s Master of Laws in 2022. Madhab is admitted to the Victorian Supreme Court and holds an Australian Legal Practicing Certificate.

Madhab is currently working towards becoming an immigration specialist by extending his experience as a caseworker for partner visas, protection visas, work visas, visa refusals and citizenship matters. Madhab’s background in politics and policy studies and international relations have equipped him with a broad understanding of the political issues and relevant research skills essential for successful protection visa applications.

Madhab’s interest in migration law and passion for successful outcomes for clients stems from his background and extensive voluntary experience. In October 2020, Madhab was awarded Deakin Hallmark: Excellence in Leadership. This award recognises students who have contributed to communities through sustained and effective leadership. It also recognises the importance of leadership skills to the success of organisations and communities.
